Why an apprenticeship?

An apprenticeship is a proven solution for recruiting, training and retaining world-class manufacturing talent.

As an apprentice, you will receive on-the-job training from experienced operators and technicians.

You will also learn how to use various tools and machines.

Plus, you will earn a competitive wage while you learn.

And once you complete your apprenticeship, you will be registered as a journeyman-level operator or technician.

You will also have gained the knowledge and skills needed to progress in the industry.

So, if you're looking for a new opportunity with benefits and perks, an apprenticeship might be just what you're looking for! Apply now! If you are interested in becoming a CNC Machining Apprentice, take some time to read the qualifications below.

We hope this opportunity has sparked your interest and we look forward to hearing from you soon!

How it works

The CNC Apprenticeship program is a two-year program that combines on-the-job training with classroom instruction.

During the first year, apprentices will spend four days a week working in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, and one day a week in the classroom.

In the second year, apprentices will spend three days a week working and two days a week in the classroom.

Upon successful completion of the program, apprentices will earn a journeyman's certificate and be eligible for career advancement opportunities.

Program requirements include having at least 18 years of age and being currently enrolled in high school or having a GED.

Apprentices are paid an hourly wage during the program and upon completion, they will have an opportunity to earn a pay differential while they work towards their journeyman certification.

Program length can vary depending on each apprentice’s needs but typically takes about two years to complete.

What do you gain?

When you become a CNC apprentice, you gain the opportunity to learn from some of the best machinists in the world.

You also get paid to learn, which can help offset the cost of tuition. And when you finish your apprenticeship, you'll have the skills and experience you need to start your career in manufacturing.

Plus, you'll be able to earn a higher salary than if you had gone to college.

According to data collected by Bloomberg, The median income of people with an associate degree is $43,839 per year while those with just a high school diploma make $34,659.

In comparison, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), median annual earnings for workers who were either certified or completed an apprenticeship are much higher: about $54K and $65K respectively.

So not only will you receive industry-standard wages during your apprenticeship, but once you complete it, your pay will increase.

Become a skilled machinist with less school time & money invested!

CNC machinists are in high demand due to the increasing popularity of computer numerical control (CNC) technology in manufacturing.

Many people choose to become a CNC machinist through an apprenticeship instead of going to school for it.

Apprenticeships are a great way to learn a skilled trade while getting paid at the same time.

Plus, you don't have to incur the cost of tuition or take out student loans.

The U.S. Department of Labor estimates that a machinist apprentice could make as much as $100,000 more than they would have had they not completed their apprenticeship!

You'll be hard-pressed to find another job where you can make that kind of money with so little invested up front.
